Hi! I am glad you're here. My name is Maayan Halaf, I live in Hof HaCarmel, Israel with my partner Nadav and Pepe the dog.

A shy singer who hides in the back of the lens. Love the sea and love to surf. Actually, the first professional photography gear I bought was for in-water surf photography.

After many years of traveling, living abroad and various jobs, I decided to take my passion a step forward and went to study photography and music in Musrara and then in Minshar school of arts.

I am fascinated by human beings and culture, and besides weddings I also shoot portraits, pregnancy, fashion and day to day documentary, video and stills.

Analog is a big part of my work, I enjoy the slow process and uncertainty of this medium that always gives a nostalgic and imperfect quality.
